SurvivalMedicineBlog

first aid when help is delayed

SurvivalMedicineBlog is a small educational site about recognizing common emergencies and knowing when to get licensed care. The people who maintain it are not presenting themselves as your clinicians. Nothing here is a diagnosis, a prescription, or a plan for staying away from medical care.

The site began as a restored copy of an older personal blog. In October 2026 we removed posts that gave dosing instructions for herbs, homeopathic remedies, toothache plants, radiation "detox," and outbreak situations including Ebola and enterovirus. Those addresses now redirect to a general page. A disclaimer on the old posts was not enough to keep them online.

The pages that remain describe warning signs and ordinary prevention: handwashing, fluids, warmth, tick removal, and when to call your local emergency number. They are general information. They can be wrong for a specific person. When professional care is available, use it. If someone may be in immediate danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the United States) or go to the nearest emergency department.

We do not offer personal medical advice by email. Questions about the website itself go through the contact page. How the site handles cookies and advertising is on the privacy policy.
